Specialist Barbara Lapini spoke about the Partnership for Growth Initiative
and the goal of broader access to capital for Italian business at the Bio
Europe Spring Conference held in Milan March 5-7, 2007. The Partnership
for Growth presentation was part of a panel discussion entitled “How to
Tackle the Financial Gap in Italy.” Members of the panel represented the
Italian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (AIFI), Finlombarda,
and two successful Italian start-up companies, Gentium and EOS.
