The Information Resource Center is part of the U.S. Consulate
General and provides information about the United States in different
areas of expertise. The Center aims to serve public administrations,
private institutions, non-governmental organizations, journalists,
academicians, researchers, companies and professionals and gives
information about the following specific subject areas related
to the United States:
- Politics and Culture
- Economy and Commerce
- International Relations, Security and Defense
- Civil Society and Human Rights
- Environment and other topics related to Health
The Information Resource Center includes an up-to-date reference
collection (encyclopedias, directories, yearbooks, handbooks),
government documents and think tank reports. The IRC also subscribes
to a group of interesting reports published in the U.S., and
has a powerful set of online electronic databases.
Please, send your information request in writing by fax, letter
or e-mail, indicating your name, your institution
and a description of the type of information you need.
